The Brawl for the ages!
This game is probably one of the most games that recieved the most hype over the last year, and thankfully it is well deserved. Unlike in the previous Smash Bros installments for the nintendo 64 and Gamecube, the home run bat is specific for each character when in use.
There are a plethural of new challengers within the game featuring some very unique fighters for the game. Those characters are wolf, pokemon trainer, ganondorf, falco, sonic, snake, toon link, zero suit samus, meta knight, lucas, pit, omar, wario, peach, and of course.....Goku.
Along with the regular gameplay modes that were available in the previous games, there is also a campaign mode along with some unique stadium modes as well.
But by far the greatest features of the game are online capabilities, the use of finishing moves v.i.a smash balls, manyn unique power moves. Also the use of items called assist trophies which "summon" characters from other games that will assist or hamper you in the brawl. For example there is ressetti from animal crossing which blocks a section of the screen by talking. There is also some assist trophies that will also physicaly damage your opponents (excluding you of course)
gameplay 9/10: game will keep you amused for hours on end, and is also unique compared to the previous games.
Plot/storyline 7/10: Although the game features a storyline for once, the storyline is very shotty, however the cutscenes were made with sheer brilliance. Anyone who buys the game will still enjoy the unique plot.
Sound 9.5/10: with so manny unlockable background music that allows you to customize stages. As well as battle sounds executed to perfection. The music in this game definetly sets up the correct mood.
graphics 8/10: Lets face it the graphics are not as great as other games for its time, some of the battle animations could have been done alot better. But overall the graphics were not horrible considering they also had to turn manny previous gen graphics of characters to new generation graphics.
Overall 8.5/10: It may not have been the best game of the year but it surely wasnt far behind, hopefully more brawl games to come (maybe on the next console).

Fable 2 (xbox 360)
For this game I'm not really going to give it rating. its more going to be a rant and talking about the aspects of the game instead. This is because the game is innovative and very diffrent from most RPG's you have played before, so whether the person enjoys the game completly depends on whether you like new concepts or prefer the generic foundation of your typical RPG.

Similar to the original (Fable for xbox and PC), your actions decide your morality, which affects how your character looks within the game. However with fable 2 its not just "evil" and "good" there are manny in between positions on the spectrum of good and evil.
From a combat prespective, most magic fans will be very pleased (or will dissaprove of) the fact that there is no mana bar. Instead to cast magic you must first charge up the spell for use.
One of the greatest features of fable 2 is that u can quickly switch between sword magic and guns fluidly making it intresting to see what types of combonations of attacks you can come up with. There are also very intense boss battles which makes the game tougher than the original which left the players wondering if there was maybe some sort of hidden difficulty setting.
So? What are you doing still reading this? GO OUT NOW AND BUY FABLE 2!
(sorry for the badly written and short review guys was just quickly throwing something together because of my time constraints)
